Haiku evolution
I created my Haiku effect in the early 2000s, first as a prototype for myself, then in various versions released over the years. Here is a recap of the versions that have existed.
2006–2007
At the time, I made this version myself: printing, cutting, punching the hole for the ring. About a hundred copies were produced, in French only, and sold at my lectures.
The cardboard cover and ring came from a small notebook sold by the Japanese store Muji.

2007–2017
For ten years, CC Éditions produced my effect as a bound notebook using real Japanese haikus, in a box that included the instructions. This format was slightly larger than the original while preserving the method, and was available in French and English.

2019–2020
From 2019 to 2020, I produced a new “paperback book” format, with the glued binding on the long edge instead of the short edge. Still easy to carry, but more visible in performance, both in close-up and on stage. The method was modified and made easier, also eliminating the memory work.
2022
This format was the same size as the CC Éditions book, with the ring and method from the original. Available in French only, I produced about a hundred copies.

2023–…
Since 2023, I have returned to the 2019 “paperback book” format.
This version is currently available in English, French, and German, with either a softcover or hardcover binding, the latter being more durable.
In 2025, I returned to Japan to film the video explanations.
This version is still available on my website and in selected magic shops.
