Released in 1970, « Zatoichi Goes to the Fire Festival » is the twenty-first movie of the series. Note that this script was co-written by Shintaro Katsu, the main actor ! This is also the sixth and final time that director Kenji Misumi contributes to the saga, and he gives us a magnificent movie, with a multitude of magical scenes.
